How does it work?
Derma Roller therapy is a natural skin rejuvenation treatment only available from trained medical practitioners. Derma roller is comprised of tiny micro needles rolled across the skin creating miniscule pin pricks that stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin. Derma Roller is less aggressive than traditional skin resurfacing treatments.

It stimulates the skin’s natural healing response without causing unnecessary trauma to the top layer of the skin. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other treatments such as peels and microdermabrasion.

How many sessions needed?
The number of sessions needed will depend on the severity of the problem. A course of 3 treatments at intervals of 6 weeks is recommended. In the treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring more treatments may be required.

Are there any side affects?
Immediately after the Dermaroller treatment the skin may feel warm and tighter than usual and will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin will look red.
