Covid-19 Clinic Update

Since lockdown eased across the country, we at HSC Clinic have been  working hard to implement covid-19 measures, as patients’ safety and wellbeing remains our top priority. Here’s what you can expect from your appointment with us.

Clinic environment – clean, bright and welcoming, with extra measures in place to ensure the setting is as hygienic and sterile as possible. All of the contact surfaces will be cleaned in-between appointments before another enters the clinic hallway, for your safety. Additionally, owing to guidance around sterilisation and preventing the spread of coronavirus, there will be a 15-minute gap between appointments to disinfect rooms and reduce the close contact between patients in our waiting room.

Social distancing – we are following government guidance of 2m+ between patients at all times.

PPE – we will be wearing gloves, face masks and visors when carrying out treatments. You will need to wear a mask when attending your appointment and will also need to disinfect your hands on entering and leaving the clinic.

Treatments available – Some treatments maybe temporarily unavailable. For more information about this, please get in touch with our team.

Personal information – we are currently handling patient data in accordance with NHS Test and Trace guidelines. This is so that we can contact you in the event of a situation where any patient has contracted covid-19. We also require a Wellness Assessment Form to be completed prior to, or on the day of, your appointment.

Opening hours – we have resumed our normal hours of work, but implemented a doorbell system. Please get in touch with us for more information.

Cancellations – if you, or anyone you have been in contact with, has covid-19 symptoms, we ask that you please cancel your appointment and DO NOT ATTEND the clinic. In the event of a last-minute cancellation caused by the coronavirus illness, we will waive our usual cancellation fee.

Chaperones – please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment, unless this has been agreed beforehand.

Finally, please DO NOT ATTEND the clinic if you are at all unwell. This includes colds, coughs, flu symptoms, chills or shivers, loss of taste or smell, muscle pains, or fever.

We will endeavour to keep our website updated with the latest information and policies regarding the covid-19 outbreak.
