Everything you need to know

One way to treat wrinkles is through injectables, where a series of small injections can target different areas of the face. Our treatment recommendations depend on the needs of our clients and the areas and concerns they wish to treat. As such, we will always put the onus on a consultation before suggesting a treatment.

Areas include frown and forehead lines, crow’s feet, lines around the mouth, lifting the corners of the mouth, gummy smile and bunny lines. In addition, the neck and jawline areas, and conditions such as excessive sweating, can also be treated.

You will usually see positive changes in around 3 to 4 days, but full effects can take up to 2 weeks following treatment. The duration of results will vary between individuals.

Suitability is discussed during your initial consultation, as lots of factors come into play. Although most people can undergo this type of treatment, those who are pregnant, breast-feeding, trying for a baby or anyone suffering from a severe neuromuscular disease will not be suitable. Even if you are suitable for the treatment, depending on what results you’re looking for, it may not be the right choice for you, and we may recommend an alternative option.

You may experience some mild discomfort, but treatment is usually pain-free. If necessary, we can offer a topical anaesthetic to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

Side-effects are rare and temporary and mostly related to injection sites e.g. slight redness and tenderness, which usually resolves within a few hours. If there is any bruising, it will subside after a few days and can be concealed with makeup.

Other side-effects are rare, but headaches and flu-like symptoms have been reported occasionally that may last for a few hours.

Went today for my first ever procedure and absolutely couldn’t fault the care and attention that I was given by Marzieh – without doubt I cannot imagine anyone could ever make me feel so at ease and make the process as painless as possible as what she did !!
